BASF to Increase Price for Styrene-Butadiene and Styrene-Acrylic Based Polymers in North America

Effective May 15, 2015 or as contracts allow, BASF will increase prices for styrene-butadiene and styrene-acrylic latex polymers sold in North America.  Prices will increase up to $0.05 per wet pound ($0.10 per dry pound) on some Acronal, Styrofan Styronal, Butofan, and Butonal products sold into the carpet, paper, construction and fiberbonding related industries. Recent cost increases in the production and delivery of these products have made the price increases necessary....
